Snowflakes on a winter night

- 5 -

A manifestation
Of your virgin innocence:
Snowflakes on a biting winter sensation.

Urban pollution
From modern construction
Vanishes into a
Plain white vision,
Layered by sheets of
Pure wool
Sacrificed from docile sheep.

We will be
Dancing on
Tangible clouds.

They are
Ornaments
That décor the
Moon-lit sky,
Resting along side
Brightly sparkling stars
On a Canvas
Of Solitary night
As they shimmer when
Light reflects off them,
Reflecting off the moon,
Reflecting off the sun.

Each flake
Detailed differently
At every edge.

No two are
Exactly
The same.

The thin
Sculpture of
Ice drifts, makes its
Descend gracefully.

It comes closer,
Closer, towards my being,
Delicately landing a
Kiss on my cheeks,
Leaving nothing but a
Lingering touch
As if your sleek hair
That falls to
Tickle my face I lay bare.

As same goes for you
When Snowflakes
Refashion into the
Tears shed by your
Immaculate eyes
For just a mere life.

But who knew that
I saw a clear
Lucent sky on a
Winter night in
Your eyes, stars that
Twinkled in them and
Snowflakes that
Trickled down
Your cheeks
As tears…
