Seeing you

- 4 -

Seeing you from afar,
You are a silhouette
Of a girl I once met.
You are that twinkling star
Up in the misty sky
That guides my path
Like a firefly.

Seeing you in the dark,
I can only make out
The arcs
Of your face.
Your eyes are still
As tiny as usual.
But staring at
That two shining onyx
Always gets my consciousness absorbed
Into your galaxy of thoughts.

And I fall into a deep dream
Of your serene twitch
Of your lips that
Never splits
To display your
Array of ordered teeth.
But I don’t mind.

Seeing you walk up
To my heart
Never fails to
Make me nervous.
Yet simultaneously,
Admiring every step
You take.

My eyes are stuck to you
Like glue
Seeing you.
